BE AWARE!!!!!!
Ok so I used to think I was getting thee best & lowest rates using Priceline,but I was soooo wrong!!!
Since March 2nd, its now March 16th, Ive used Priceline to book a Hotel room for a week in San Diego, a rental car to drive up to Long Beach & a So-So hotel room in Long Beach. Now I paid about $631 for this soso hotel for one week. Finding out I need to stay longer, I asked the front desk how much for another week? Well he told me $460 for the week..... So why did I pay $171 extra?? He said "I dont know people book thru computer & not just call me, its that price always."
When I called Pricelines cust serv to complain, they told me how they get their prices from negotiating the reservations based on the number of rooms available or a group price, blah blah blah. After losing my patients with her I asked to speak to a supervisor who still couldnt make me understand why I paid $171 more than the asking price... I thought I was using Priceline to get the lowest & best values?? Even after using the site 3x in 2 weeks time and spending if not, close to $1500, the only resolution was Priceline will make a note of this and learn so they can better help other customers...... Umm what about me? Arent I a customer, who has spent a lot of money in 2 weeks time, how come Im not getting any type of discount or resolution to the inflated price I paid for a crap hotel?
Need less to say I do not recommend Priceline & will not bring using it again. Ill call the places directly!
